1994. the book looked at the material lives of people around the world. more recently, menzel and his wife
faith d’aluisio published ‘hungry planet: what the world eats’. this latest book details the weekly food purchases
of families around the world. “the centerpiece of each chapter is a portrait of the entire family surrounded by
a week’s worth of groceries accompanied by interviews and detailed grocery lists.”
